Privacy policy

Last updated August 20, 2026. This policy explains how Doorkeeper Labs handles information connected with Stock Journal.

What Stock Journal stores

The public service currently stores reference data such as instrument symbols, names, exchanges, source identifiers, and enrichment metadata. If you use the contact form, we store the name, email address, subject, and message you submit so we can reply.

Local-first journal data

The iOS journal is designed to keep your trades, notes, journal entries, and settings on your device. Do not submit private trading information through the public contact form.

Service providers

Reference data is sourced from the SEC and enriched through OpenFIGI. Logo images are delivered by Logo.dev. These services receive only the requests needed to provide their respective functions. Server credentials are kept on the backend and are not shipped in the iOS app.

Retention and security

Contact messages are retained while needed to respond and operate the service. We use access controls, encrypted transport, rate limits, and server-side credential storage. No online system can promise absolute security, so avoid sending highly sensitive information.

Your choices

To ask about a contact submission or request deletion, use the contact page. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.
